Lake Louisa State Park is a 4,372-acre Florida State Park located south of Clermont, in the northeast corner of the Green Swamp and the southwestern shore of Lake Louisa

Fishing – 4 of the 6 lakes allow fishing. No gas powered motors, all fishing rules apply. Visit to see rules and obtain fishing licence

Swimming – ONLY in Lake Louisa. No life guard on duty. You may not be able to see the bottom even in the shallows due to the tannins in the water from local plant life

The state park makes for a great stay-cation rent a cabin and spend some quality time together with no TV. And if you only have 1 day you can rent a kayak and have a cookout for lunch. There can be something for the whole family to do.
