Home Made Dog Cookies

Home Made Dog Cookies

I have made these cookies many times it’s fun for me and the dogs love them. They also make great gift extras for the people in my life who have dogs.

Peanut Butter and Oats:

Ingredients

1 cup of dry oats

2 cups whole wheat flour

1/2 cup smooth peanut butter

1/2 cup extra crunchy peanut butter

1/4 canola Olivia or coconut oil

1 egg

Preheat the oven to 350 F

Mix all the ingredients together, then flatten it all out and use cookie cutters to cut out shapes, my favorite are the bone shape and the cat shape. Any extra to small to make a shape I roll into a ball.

Once all you shapes are on the cookie sheet put them in the oven for 15-20 minutes, flip and again 15-20 minutes.

If you want soft chew cookies which are good for older dogs take them out and let them cool on the counter if you want the traditional harder crunchy cookies leave them in the oven turn off the heat and crack the door for about an extra 30 minutes.

These are some of Maxwell House and Snoopy’s favorite treats! We have shared them with over 7 other dogs and so far no complaints. I hope you and your furry babies enjoy making and eating these as much as our family has.

To Prep Or Not to Prep – Can They see the Future

Part 3 —

When selling a home one of the biggest questions is what do I do to help sell my home. Most people have started the process of looking for their next home and do not want to put a lot of time, effort or money into the home they are trying to leave. But what if I told you there are some easy steps you can take to help in the process of selling your home and better yet most of these are free!

Can They see Themselves Living Here

When you first prep you house for selling look around at all your wonderful family photos you have. I know you love those pictures of your wedding day, the kids graduation, that family vacation at the beach. Now after you looked at them maybe even cried a little, lets take the first steps of the inevitable  packing process and take some or all of them down.  I’m not being harsh but remember we have to put ourselves in Mr. and Mrs. Buyers shoes. If I’m trying to picture myself living in this house and every where I turn I see proof that another happy family lives here it’s hard from my brain to make the bond. And the buyer has to bond with the house and has to be able to see themselves living there.

I know these are only a few ideas and ultimately we should all take time to talk to our Realtor when prepping the house as they will have the most insight to you and your home, but if taking 5 minutes can help you sell faster why not!

To Prep or Not to Prep- Now they’re Inside

Part 2 –When selling a home one of the biggest questions is what do I do to help sell my home. Most people have started the process of looking for their next home and do not want to put a lot of time, effort or money into the home they are trying to leave. But what if I told you there are some easy steps you can take to help in the process of selling your home and better yet most of these are free!

Great now They’re Inside

If you’re a typically running around last second fly by the seat of your pants like I am, then you know it’s hard to keep your house ready for a showing at a moments notice, and those buyers do not want to wait. This can be solved by finding your suite case! The phone rings… they will be over in 20 minutes… get that suite case out. Your kids soccer uniform, the dogs toys, the book your currently reading get them all, remember the buyer doesn’t care where it went just that  it’s not on the floor. Now all you have on your hands is a suite case which you can tuck away in a closet or under the bed. The only place this might not help is the kitchen. Don’t go throwing last nights lasagna in the suite case.

I know these are only a few ideas and ultimately we should all take time to talk to our Realtor when prepping the house as they will have the most insight to you and your home, but if taking 5 minutes can help you sell faster why not!

To Prep or Not to Prep- Curb Appeal

Part 1 –When selling a home one of the biggest questions is what do I do to help sell my home. Most people have started the process of looking for their next home and do not want to put a lot of time, effort or money into the home they are trying to leave. But what if I told you there are some easy steps you can take to help in the process of selling your home and better yet most of these are free!

Curb Appeal

Let’s take a second as a Seller to stand in the Buyers shoes. Go outside and look at your house, if the person driving by knows nothing about the inside of your home, what about the outside will make them want to come in for a look.

It can be as easy as pulling some weeds, cutting the grass and trimming those over grown bushes. Not the outdoor type? No problem there are countless landscaping companies ready to come help and if you are watching the bank ask around, I’d guess you have friends with teenagers who would like to earn an extra buck or two.

I know these are only a few ideas and ultimately we should all take time to talk to our Realtor when prepping the house as they will have the most insight to you and your home, but if taking 5 minutes can help you sell faster why not!

who am i

About me

Although I grew up in beautiful Ohio my family moved to Florida when I was 11 and it didn’t take me long to know this is where I belonged.

I met Craig in 2004, he was In Florida visiting his parents on vacation. Since neither of us are patient people we were married in September 2005. At the time I had been working in an Animal Hospital and I soon got a job at a Property management office. This entered me into the word of short term rental. I soon realized how much I enjoyed helping look after their home and this lead me to get my Real Estate license in 2007.

Craig and I also started My Pool Repairs LLC http://www.mypoolrepairs.com run by Craig and I help out with the office side of things.

I have 9 dogs all Hounds and a son Forrest born in January 2016

Between my husband, my son and my 9 dogs, Real Estate and our Pool repair company I stay pretty active and I love every minute of it.
